To address the detection and early warning of battery thermal runaway faults, this study conducted a comprehensive review of recent advances in lithium battery fault monitoring and early warning in energy-storage systems from various physical perspectives.
The thermal warning network utilizes the measurement difference and an integrated long and short-term memory network to process the input time series. This thermal early warning network takes the core temperature of the energy storage system as the judgment criterion of early warning and can provide a warning signal in multi-step in advance.
Consequently, advancements in lithium-ion battery early warning systems to detect thermal runaway are significantly important in the development of applications such as electric vehicles and energy storage stations.
In addition to modifying intrinsic battery properties, early warning systems to detect battery failures are also vital in battery safety risk management. It is necessary to first analyze typical battery safety failure scenarios and then to select reasonable warning methods based on these scenarios.
Establishing an accurate and widely applicable EV battery early warning method and TR prediction is crucial to enhance the safety. As a result, numerous scholars have engaged in in-depth and comprehensive research on this topic.
