Talent said it has made breakthroughs in a number of key technologies for all-solid-state lithium batteries, including ultra-thin dense composite oxide solid-state electrolytes, high-capacity cathode and anode materials, and an integrated solid-state battery molding process.

A solid-state battery developer in China has unveiled a new cell that could help change the game for electric mobility. Tailan New Energy’s vehicle-grade all-solid-state lithium batteries offer energy density twice that of other cells in the segment, empowering the Chinese battery maker to hail the cells as a record-setter in the industry.
“We believe that our newly developed material for solid-state batteries can make a significant contribution to the energy transformation of society. We will continue the development towards early commercialisation,” said TDK’s chief executive Noboru Saito.
