To assemble the cells and create a battery pack, you can use hot glue or plastic battery holders. I used plastic ANR 26650 M1-B cell holders/spacers to assemble 15 cells.
To design a battery pack, you first need to finalize the nominal voltage and capacity of the pack, either in terms of Volt, mAh/Ah, or Wh (in this case, 18000 Wh). The individual cell: ANR26650M1-B has a nominal voltage of 3.3 V and current capacity. The process continues with selecting the battery management system, designing the enclosure, and assembling the cells.
Recreate the sheet metal formations using your new metal and a pair of shears or, more ideal, a laser cutter. Weld the new batteries to the new sheet metal formations at the right points and with the correct orientation in order to create your new battery packs. Place the new packs in their correct positions.
To connect a battery to a power pack, place the positive battery side at the positive terminal marked ‘+’ in the power pack. The negative battery side should be connected to the ‘-’ side of the power pack. Ensure the correct orientation by having the positive battery side at the positive terminal and the negative battery side at the negative terminal. Wires will provide a path for electrons and allow them to flow between the battery and the power pack.
