This research project focuses on the development of a Solar Charging Station (SCS) tailored specifically for EVs. The primary objective is to design an efficient and environmentally sustainable charging system that utilizes solar energy as its primary power source. The SCS integrates state- of -the-art photovoltaic panels, energy EVs.
A solar-powered grid connected charging station is considered, where a 6 kW solar system is selected for performance study. The system is to be installed Chinnakkada, Kollam, Kerala, India for facilitating provision for charging of electric auto rickshaw operators.
