Hydrogen energy storage Systems (HydESS) are becoming popular as a relatively inexpensive way of storing RE, including transportation and trade [3, 8, 10]. These are all agreed upon by the works of literature [2, 15, 16, 18]. According to the literature [3, 8, 10], HydESS creates a platform for the hydrogen economy, a 100% RE system.
Indeed, BESSs and hydrogen storage systems have been already defined by other researchers as mutual alternatives to be embedded in the energy systems . However, both ESSs have been identified as attractive solutions in different combinations to enhance the reliability and resiliency of national grids and energy systems.
