The main properties of interest include chemical composition, purity and physical properties of the materials such as lithium, cobalt, nickel, manganese, lead, graphite and various additives.

Its efficiency in particle packing enhances overall conductivity, making it an essential element for efficient and durable lithium ion batteries.
In other work, it was shown that, vanadium pentoxide (V 2 O 5) has been recognized as the most applicable material for the cathode in metal batteries, such as LIBs, Na-ion batteries, and Mg-ion batteries. Also, it was found that V 2 O 5 has many advantages, such as low cost, good safety, high Li-ion storage capacity, and abundant sources .
Most battery electrodes consist of electroactive materials coated on the current collector. To coat this active material, the powders are transformed into slurries by mixing with suitable solvents. Battery slurries typically consist of the active materials, binders, conductive additives and solvents.
