That absolves the battery -- which means the fault is with the system board. Having same type issue. Moreover, if I shut it down and try to turn it on, it will turn on without the charger being plugged in. It just needs the charger to be plugged in one time if I want to turn on my laptop after not using it for a few hours or so.
Keep in mind once the charger is plugged in the laptop can be turned on and it will charge normally and hold a very good charge, I can turn it on while plugged in and charge the battery but if it’s shutdown and not plug back in it will not turn back on unless I plug a charger in it (type c charger or original Acer charger.
