The development of hydrogen energy industry has become China's national consensus. China has formed three major industrial clusters of hydrogen and fuel cells. China's hydrogen industry is facing the risk of overcapacity. China should strengthen the top-level design of hydrogen development strategy.
Therefore, the development of safe and economical hydrogen storage and transportation technology is an important prerequisite for the widespread use of hydrogen energy. Fig. 1 shows the cost structure of the industrial by-product hydrogen energy industry chain (see Fig. 2). Fig. 1.
Among them, the cost of the storage and transportation link exceeds 30%, making it a crucial factor for the efficient and extensive application of hydrogen energy . Therefore, the development of safe and economical hydrogen storage and transportation technology is an important prerequisite for the widespread use of hydrogen energy.
As the terminal of the hydrogen industry, the promotion of the market in the hydrogen application is the main constraint on the scale of hydrogen energy development. At present, the hydrogen application is mainly concentrated in traditional industry.
As China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation and China National Petroleum Corporation, as representatives of large state-owned energy enterprises, increase their layout of the hydrogen energy industry, as of the end of 2022, China has built 274 hydrogen refueling stations.
